The Turtle- Verse (The TMNT Multiverse)

Hello there. Today I will be taking about the multiverse in the TMNT franchise and how it's been used throughout the years. Let me explain what is the multiverse for anyone who doesn't know.  The multiverse is an infinite amount of universes or dimensions if you will where anything is possible meaning that there are endless deferent universes. 

In  TMNT, the multiverse known as the turtle- verse isn't used or shown that often but it states that any and all TMNT incarnations exist.  

Mirage: 

The Mirage Turtles have met characters from other publishers having crossover events with them.  They have crossed over with: 

*Usagi Yojimbo (Usagi Yojimbo volume 1 #10, Volume 2 #1-3) 

 *Cerebus (TMNT volum1 #8)  

*A 4 issue mini- series with the Flaming Carrot

*2 crossovers with the Savage Dragon (the turtles have also appeared in the Savage Dragon  issues #2, #22 and #41) 

 In Tales of the TMNT volume 2 the ninja turtles had 4 crossovers with The Wild West C. O. W. Boys of Moo Mesa, in: 

1) Tales of the TMNT volume 2 #21 

2) Tales of the TMNT volume 2 #32 

3) Tales of the TMNT volume 2 #52 

4) Tales of the TMNT volume 2 #58  

On the final crossover (Tales of the TMNT Volume 2 #58) the turtles and the cow boys went against Galactose (a vampire entity who is a soul devourer). He was awaken by the Utromi Preservi. Also, a familiar character showed up to help the turtles, Cudley the cowlick (who is a being capable of travelling across time and space and co- exists in the Mirage, Archie and IDW continuities, the 2012 show and in Rise of the TMNT). As Galactose was ripping worlds apart he started breaking the limits between dimensions and it was then that our heroes saw other versions of themselves more specifically the archie and the dreamwave comics. 

1987 TV Series: 

In the 1987 cartoon, (season 3 episode 32), Donatello created an interdimensional doorway and discovered an alternate Earth where instead of humans, that universe was populated by human- like talking animals. This is also how the 1987 turtles met Usagi Yojimbo. 

Fleetway: In the Fleetway comics, Shredder and Kraang discover an alternate universe where the Ninja Turtles are criminals. They teleport them to the Technodrome, in the hopes that they will be able to destroy the turtles once and for all. Ultimately though, the heroes in a half shell are able to best their evil counterparts in battle and as a result, they are sent back to their earth.
